<span style='font-size: 14pt'>Burglary at PM’s daughter's house </span>

Thieves broke into the St. Andrew residence of Sherine Golding, who is the daughter of Prime Minister Bruce Golding.
They made off with a gun and several other items.
The St. Andrew Central Police are now searching for the intruders.
It is reported that Ms. Golding and her common-law husband woke up to discover that sections of the lower floor of the two storey Town House off Hope Road had been ransacked.
Police sources told RJR News that the robbers entered the house by breaking a Louvre window.
Ms. Golding's Common-Law husband's licensed firearm, a Glock 19 semi automatic pistol with 30 rounds of ammunition, which was reportedly in a briefcase, was stolen.
In addition to those items, they reportedly also made off with a laptop, cellular phones, and a car radio taken from her Honda CRV motor van.
The couple was unharmed.

The Half-Way-Tree Police were kept busy Tuesday as gunmen staged several robberies in the St Andrew Central Police Division.
Shortly after midday, the police were called to the Burger King franchise on Barbican Road after the manager was robbed.
It is reported that the manager was going to seek change a short distance from the store when she was robbed of $40,000.
The gunmen escaped on a high powered motor bike.
Two hours later, the cops were called to a hotel along Hope Road after gunmen robbed a guest of his Toyota Corolla motor car.
The police have warned persons doing financial transactions in the commercial districts of New Kingston, Half-Way-Tree and surrounding areas to be on the alert for suspicious looking men travelling on high powered motor bikes.
Over the past few weeks robbers have been trailing and robbing persons conducting financial transactions in the St Andrew Central Police Division.
